What is Llacta Café?

Llacta Café is an online store specializing in Ecuadorian coffee, bringing together coffees from different brands, farms, and producers across Ecuador in one place.

Our purpose is to make it easier to discover Ecuadorian coffees with identity, origin, and traceability, especially those produced on a small and medium scale and that you would not normally find in supermarkets.

Llacta Café does not relabel or modify the products. Each coffee retains its original brand, origin, and the story of the people who produce it.

What is specialty coffee?

Specialty coffee is generally considered coffee that scores 80 points or higher according to Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) evaluation standards.

At Llacta Café, you will find specialty coffees, microlots, and other Ecuadorian origin coffees, each with different characteristics, varieties, processes, and cup profiles.

Where does Llacta Café’s coffee come from?

Our coffees are produced in different coffee-growing regions of Ecuador, including Loja, Napo, Imbabura, and Pichincha.

We work with different brands, farms, and producers to showcase the diversity of Ecuadorian coffee and allow you to discover different origins, varieties, processes, and cup profiles.

Does Llacta Café produce its own coffee?

No. Llacta Café operates as a coffee discovery and sales platform.

Each producer maintains their own brand and product. We bring them together in one place so you can discover, compare, and purchase Ecuadorian coffees that you would otherwise have to find producer by producer.
