1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, browsing, or making purchases on llactacafe.com from Colombia or Peru, you agree to these Terms of Service in full. If you do not agree with them, please do not use our website or place an order.
2. Products
The products sold by Llacta Café are Ecuadorian coffees shipped directly from Ecuador. Availability may vary depending on the producer, lot, or presentation. Llacta Café reserves the right to modify, replace, or discontinue products without prior notice.
3. Prices and Payments
Prices for the Colombia and Peru market are expressed in U.S. dollars (USD).
Llacta Café reserves the right to modify prices, promotions, and commercial conditions at any time.
Payment must be completed at the time the order is placed using the payment methods available at checkout.
4. Taxes, Duties, and Import Charges
Prices and conditions established for the Colombia and Peru market include applicable taxes, duties, and import charges under the standard shipping conditions used by Llacta Café.
Our goal is to prevent customers from receiving unexpected customs charges upon delivery.
FedEx or customs authorities may request identification, documentation, or other information from the recipient that is necessary to complete the import process.
If, due to the value, quantity, weight, documentation, or specific characteristics of an order, an extraordinary customs procedure is required, Llacta Café may contact the buyer before or during the import process.
5. Orders and Availability
Receipt or automatic confirmation of an order does not definitively guarantee product availability.
If Llacta Café is unable to fulfill all or part of an order due to lack of inventory or another circumstance, the customer will be notified and the corresponding refund will be issued, or an alternative will be offered, as applicable.
6. Shipping
Orders are shipped directly from Ecuador to Colombia and Peru via FedEx International.
Shipping rates are calculated based on the total weight of the order and are displayed before checkout is completed.
Orders of $180 USD or more qualify for free shipping, provided this is indicated at checkout.
The estimated transit time is 3 to 5 business days after dispatch.
Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to customs procedures, weather conditions, public holidays, the recipient’s location, or other external factors.
All shipments are also subject to our Shipping Policy for Colombia and Peru.
7. Buyer Responsibilities
The customer is responsible for providing complete and accurate information, including the recipient’s name, address, city, postal code when applicable, phone number, email address, and any information required for customs clearance.
If an order cannot be delivered due to incorrect or incomplete information, recipient absence, refusal of the package, or failure to provide requested documentation, any additional storage, return, or reshipping costs may be the responsibility of the buyer.
8. Returns and Refunds
Return, exchange, or refund requests are governed by our Return Policy for Colombia and Peru.
Because these are food products, returns of opened, handled, or partially consumed coffee are not accepted, unless there is a duly verified issue attributable to the product or to Llacta Café.
9. Intellectual Property
Llacta Café’s own content on llactacafe.com, including texts, design, visual identity, logos, and other materials, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Brands, photographs, stories, and other content belonging to producers featured on the platform remain the property of their respective owners.
10. Limitation of Liability
Llacta Café shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the website or from external circumstances related to transportation, customs, or services provided by third parties, except where liability is directly attributable to Llacta Café under applicable law.
11. Governing Law
Llacta Café operates from Ecuador. These terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Ecuador, without prejudice to any rights that may apply to the consumer under mandatory laws in their country of residence.
